I heard of this very cruel and disgusting story. It's almost like the story that Pastor Melvin told, of the bird who got sucked into the vacuum cleaner and then later was washed under running water and hair-dried.

Except this story is real.

My auntie told me that one of her husband side's nephew, once put a hamster into the microwave oven trying to dry it up after it fell into a cup of water. I shall end my story here.

I was reminded of this incident of trying to be"小聪明" but ending up with a disaster, because it's related to this verse that impacted me.

" 7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God."

Chariots and horses are superior warfare equipment in ancient warfare. Go google it if you dont believe.

The modern equivalent is "smart bombs" and F23 Stealth Fighters.
The student's equivalent is PHDs and scholarships.

But beyond these, King David trusted in God's faithfulness.

How much do you trust God for your own circumstances? Or your own 小聪明?
