Read Pastor YC's insight here: http://pascoaman.blogspot.com/2008/04/psalm-108-morning-worship.html*** God gave me an imagery of this psalm. In army, whenever we go outfield for military exercises and operations, this is usually what happens after 2-3 days of hard work fighting or marching towards our objective. Last night before the final assault, before the attack at dawn, the Platoon Commander would gather everyone together to remind us of the plans and finally have a rousing speech to uplift the morale and motivate us for that final push. The same imagery God put in my mind: King David standing before his army, preparing them for that assault on the enemy. Warriors, let's steady our heart.Let's worship the Lord and fight the good fight. When I sound the trumpet, let's shake the dawn with our praise.Remember this fight is to declare God's goodness to the world.Remember God's love, faithfulness and glory. He will save us, because He has promised in His Word.Oh God, You must help us, because our strength is useless.Only You can grant us the victory and crush our enemies!Today, I stand and declare: Guys, let's steady our heart. We will not allow our fears of exams, our sinful habits, old nature, and every of Satan's schemes, to defeat us.Let's cry out to God to deliver us! God can help us to overcome, so that our friends can see a changed life and Jesus in us!
